After the hype of the first round is over Serie A Tim next round Giornata 2 followed like a blink of an eye. Juventus won at home on Alinaz arena Lazio 2-0 and yes, Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t scored yet, but his time is coming and learning the Italian style of playing football continues for Portuguese superstar. Another crazy match in Napoli where Acelotti meet his student Genaro Gatuzo and the teacher showed the class wining 3-2 after losing 0-2. Inter having a lead of two goals managed just a draw 2-2 at home against a very fight-full Torino. In the end but not least interesting was the match of AS Roma that after leading 1-0, felt short 3-1 and saved the match in a home draw 3-3 against Atalanta. So as you can see from this preview lots of fun was going on in Lega Serie A Tim Week 2.
Last year in the super cup of Italy Lazio delive0erd the surprise and won in added time Juventus. The team of Simone Inzagi had a good campaign last year in the league as well in Europe and it was clear that there were chances to get a good result in Torino against Juventus that are Champions of Italy for the 7 years in row. Masimiliano Allegri’s Juventus get serious plans for this season in Italy and in Europe especially after they signed Cristiano Ronaldo, the come back of Bonucci and the joining of Emre Can as a free agent after the expiration of his contract at Liverpool. Miralem Pjanić opened the score on 30th minute and in the second half Mario Mandzukic doubled the lead(75′), Juventus getting two out of two wins and Ronaldo searching for his opening goal for his new team.
After playing for Napoli and move to Juventus, this summer as a result of agreement Bonucci left to Torino and Higuain joined AC Milan. The return in red and black in Napoli was not the most pleasant thing that Argentinian striker had to endure. Genaro Gattuso that made his name in AC Milan under Carlo Ancelotti had to meet this time his former boss, but this time playing against each other in the role of football managers. AC Milan started well the match and Giacomo Bonaventura opened the score on 15th minute. Four minutes after the start of the second half visitors doubled the lead through Davide Calabria(49′). Carlo Ancelotti by far one of the best Italian football managers in the history made few adjustments of his tactics and on 53rd minute Piotr Zieliński scored first goal for Napoli. The come back started, the host took the initiative and started to press AC Milan and as a result the same Piotr Zieliński equalized on 67th minute. Icing on the cake of a perfect come back arrived though on 80th minute when Dries Mertens scored the winning goal and crushed all the hopes of Rossonieri of getting at least a point from Stadio San Paolo.
After a surprising defeat in the first match of Serie A Tim, Inter playing home get an early opener against Torino on 6th minute through Ivan Perisic. Stefan de Vrij double the lead for Inter on 32nd minute and before the break nothing could predict other result that a win after a such impressive start. Torino had other plans for the night and Andrea Belotti on 55th minute reduce the lead of the host to one goal. On 68th minute 24 years old French midfielder Soualiho Meïté scored the second goal for Torino and visitors saved the match and left Milan with one point. Tough start for Luciano Spalletti of the campaign and Italian technician must solve the defensive issues as fast is possible in order to secure a good campaign in Europe and in Italy.
Another thriller match of the week 2 came from Stadio Olimpico where Roma finished the game against Atalanta draw 3-3. Eusebio Di Francesco had transformed the style of AS Roma and made his team a force in Italy and in Europe after they reached semifinals last campaign of UEFA Champions League. The meeting started well for the hosts that opened the score on second minute of the game through ex PSG player Javier Pastore. Atalanta though didn’t get intimidated and fired back three times: Timothy Castagne(19′), Emiliano Rigoni(22′, 38′). At the half break the visiting side was leading 3-1. AS Roma playing in front of their home supporters came back in the game on 60th minute Alessandro Florenzi reduced the difference to 2-3. Kostas Manolas was the hero for Romans as he equalized on 82nd minute.
